Multipurpose
Insulation materials are made of mineral glass fibre. This is a multipurpose material.
Their thermo-insulation and sound absorption properties can be utilised in light external sheeting constructions, primarily in wooden and metal based constructions as well as in filling beamed ceilings.
For open diffusion systems, it is not necessary to apply steam protection to the inner side during application of these materials. It can be very well applied to skeleton systems of wooden or metal grids. On the outer side, wooden fibre boards can be used, to which surface finishing is finally applied. In wooden constructions, wooden fibre boards are also applied on the inside. For systems which are not open diffusion systems, it is recommended that steam protection is applied to the inner side of thermal insulation.
